Knowledge & Data Engineering

The research unit Knowledge & Data Engineering deals with the organizational and technical support of knowledge processes. Our vision is the Ubiquitous Web, where user-generated knowledge from the Web 2.0 and observations of the physical and social environment of the user are integrated, then enriched by means of Knowledge Discovery methods, and finally formalized within the Semantic Web, in order to support the human in all his purposes.
